A True Story
A white buffalo calf was born on a Wisconsin farm in 1993. The farmer hid the calf, not wanting to draw attention to this phenomenon.
One day, two trucks pulled up. Native Americas got out and asked the farmer if the white buffalo was on this farm. They said they had driven from North Dakota, following only the guidance from nightly dreams as to what roads to take each day. They came to honor the it with prayers, as the white buffalo is sacred for many Plains tribes.
